The beautiful Park View Farmhouse is surrounded by wonderful North Devon countryside. The large four bedroom character holiday house has only recently been fully refurbished. It is now a tastefully decorated, well-equipped pet and family friendly self-catering property located just a short drive from North Devon’s golden coastline and Exmoor National Park. The farmhouse also benefits from its own fully enclosed garden and a private hot tub.
Inside the house is set over two floors with the living quarters found on the ground floor and all four bedrooms along with an en-suite and family bathroom located on the first floor. All rooms have wood floors and have been finished to a very high standard to combine the farmhouse’s period charm with modern day style and elegance.
The bright and spacious living room encompases style and comfort with its wood floors and high ceilings complimented by large sofas, a decorative fireplace and a big TV perfect for those evenings in. There is also a selection of books and games to be found, which are great for keeping all the family entertained.
Opposite the living room is the large dining room with views of the countryside and direct access to the front patio where the hot tub can be found. The dining room features a wood table that can comfortably seat up to eight, and if needed a high chair is available on request for any little ones.
An archway separates the dining room from the kitchen. The classic farmhouse kitchen has plenty of storage and everything you will need for creating meals when staying in North Devon. Appliances within the kitchen include a fridge, a dishwasher, an electric cooker (plus a Sandyford Range), and a coffee machine. There is also a good range of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery.
WIth direct access to the garden and situated towards the rear of the farmhouse opposite the kitchen is the handy utility room, where you will discover the washing machine, a fridge/freezer and additional storage. Next door to the utility room is the ground floor WC.
Upstairs you will find four good sized bedrooms, the first of these on your right hand side is the en-suite double bedroom. This room enjoys countryside views and has a standard double bed, as well as a decorative fireplace, a dressing table, a built in wardrobe and a wall-mounted TV.
This bedroom also benefits from its own en-suite bathroom, which is fitted with a walk in shower, a WC and a wash-basin.
The second bedroom found towards the front of the house on the right hand side is a large double with king-size bed. This beautiful bedroom also has two wardrobes, a wall-mounted TV and a decorative fireplace.
The third bedroom located next door to bedroom 2 is another spacious double with king size bed, countryside views, a decorative fireplace, a wall-mounted TV, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe.
The final bedroom is a firm favourite with the youngsters as it features full size bunk beds. This classic children’s room enjoys views of the garden and includes a wardrobe and a handy desk along with a selection of children's books.
Located halfway upstairs on the split level landing is the family bathroom. This newly installed bathroom is fitted with a roll-top bath, a walk-in shower, a WC and a wash-basin.
Park View Farmhouse has its own private garden, which is mainly laid to lawn and great for garden games. The garden is fully enclosed and there is access from the farmhouse to the garden from the utility room (great for muddy paws and boots), the dining room and the main front door. Within the garden there is a good sized paved patio where you will find the hot tub, the BBQ and a hand-built oak table that comfortably seats friends and family for alfresco dinners.
Park View Farmhouse is accessed via its own private driveway with gates. There is also off road parking within the driveway for three-four cars and a good sized lockable storage facility perfect for storing bikes, surfboards and other items.
